Quickly now

I just finished reading “The Brief History of the Dead”, and it is wonderful. I loved it and I can’t stop thinking about it. At random little moments of the day parts of it are popping into my head and making me think.

So far the new job is good. I did spend most of last week in various training courses though, not at my actual desk. Most of the people are really nice. One is extremely not nice, like poke a pencil in her eye not nice. But, that is fine, she’s a temp and is leaving at the end of March. SEE YA!

Anyway, I’m even sort of getting used to the commute. People do not like it if you knit on the train though. They look at you like your a terrorist and any moment you’re going to get mediaeval on their asses with your needles. The guy talking to himself and banging his head on the door, no one notices him. Just me and my highly suspect fibre arts! Hilarious.

I cast on for a cowl using the Lionbrand Cashmere that my secret pal sent me. It is like butter I tell you. So soft. Okay, I’m back to the couch for some more knitting and listening to podcasts.
