Yep, I got me some guilt free yarn. No-Blog-Rachel is my saviour. We did a little swap-a-roo and look what I got:
Isn’t is lovely? It’s going to be gorgeous knee socks. And, Rachel works for a certain courier company so I got my yarn next day! Are you writhing with jealousy? Sigh, I love knitters. We take such good care of each other. Now Rachel is anxiously awaiting for some Lorna’s Laces and Regia to hit her doorstep. Unfortunately, they were shipped via Canada Post so will take a bit longer.
I’m about 1 inch away from finishing my second mock cable sock and I’m casting on two, count ‘em, two, socks tonight. I’m going to make both knee socks at the same time. I really don’t want that level of second sock syndrome being possible.
So, the world is a good place, full of wonderful knitters and great yarn. Thankfully!
Oh, one more quick thing, ever since I upgraded to the NEW AND IMPROVED blogger some things are just not working very well. Like my Bloglines feeds apparently. I’ll try to do a bit o’ reading up and see if I can’t figure out what to do about that. If anyone has any ideas/thoughts on the subject, I would love to hear from you.
