Monthly Archives: February 2010

Oh hai!

Been awhile, no?  Anyway, it’s going to be a bit longer.  This is just a drive-by to show you something cool that showed up in my post today.  Look:

It’s Evolve edited by Nancy Kilpatrick and including a story by the very talented Lectio.  I splurged for the cool signed copy.

How could I not?  Look how much fun she was having signing all those sheets?  ;)

Flat Stanley was also very impressed, and he’s not a fellow who is easily bowled over.

Okay, I’m going back to pretending I don’t have a blog again for a couple more days.  The Ravelympics are almost over and I am nowhere near being done my project.  Must go knit and wait for the hockey game to start.  :)

St. Brigid’s

It’s that time of the year again.

As the Mist Leaves No Scar

As the mist leaves no scar
On the dark green hill,
So my body leaves no scar
On you, nor ever will.

When wind and hawk encounter,
What remains to keep?
So you and I encounter,
Then turn, then fall to sleep.

As many nights endure
Without a moon or star,
So will we endure
When one is gone and far.
